Portraits make great gifts. If you have a good photograph to start with, it can be adapted to look like a renaissance drawing or a full – colour painting. I can produce oil paintings if required but to tell you the truth I can do just as well with acrylics. Oils take a long time to dry and so would be expensive. I should add that photographs taken with a flashbulb, Polaroid's or Passport photos are unsuitable to use as reference.
